This morning TPP woke up to a rainy morning but by 10am the rain had cleared and the clouds were lifting, then by midday the sun was starting to poke through the clouds.
The start to the day looked far more rain soaked than the reality – there had only been about 5mm of rain, which was rather surprising.
Now, it has been a wee while since there has been some rain in TPP’s neck of the woods, so the grass was starting to wilt and, although not really noticeable, everything had a light coating of dust on it.
So what really amazed TPP was the incredible regenerative and cleansing powers that came from such a small amount of rain – the grass now a vibrant green, flowers in full colour again and everything bright, shiny and all cleaned up. Nature at it’s best!
Your homework today is to think about the last time it rained your way and what difference this made to your surrounds – was it cleansing to the environment or was it just another day of rain so no real difference?
Ponder away!
