Personality Colour

In the last article TPP looked at the concept that colours can have an impact on your mood – not only a colour but different shades of that colour. Your homework was to ponder on your favourite colour. Well today TPP is taking this one step further in asking the question – what is your personality colour?

Apparently, according to some people, our personalities can be sorted by a number of basic colours and each colour has very specific traits. There are many different variations on this depending on where you look, but the fundamentals are the same e.g blue is reliable and trustworthy, green is peaceful and down to earth, etc.

TPP is not going to go into details about each colour versus personality. There is a lot of information online that will cover this way better than ever would be done here. This is just to help open your mind that this concept exists.

By understanding your colour personality will enable you to understand yourself more. Plus, having a rough idea of someone else’s colour personality will help you when interacting with them.

If you want to find out more here are two places that TPP found in a quick look around:

  1. The Color of My Personality
  2. 365 Tests

Your homework for today is to go to one of the two sites above and ponder:

  • what is your colour personality
  • what about those you are close to
  • and how, knowing this, can you use it to make the relationships around you better
