TPP had an unusual coincidence this morning. The last two ponderings were about balloons – the first was about a balloon being fully inflated when only half full and the second covered some balloon fun facts. What has this to do with an unusual coincidence you ask… well what should TPP see this morning but a hot air balloon gracefully floating past… not a common occurrence here!
Maybe not the type of balloon that the last two ponderings were about, but a balloon never the less.
The balloon was so graceful floating by, a very peaceful scene. Even the occasional burst of flame to keep it afloat did not take anything away from the tranquillity of the scene.
Over the years TPP has had a strong desire to go ballooning and the scene this morning re-ignited that desire to make it happen. So why has TPP not gone ballooning you ask? Well many reasons, a few being:
- the high price
- the super early morning start (who wants to get there at stupid o’clock in the morning, right?)
- finding the time to do it
- life in general getting the way
- being nervous of heights – not afraid, just nervous (yup, a wee impediment to ballooning but, hey, it doesn’t stop the desire to go)
After a while the idea of going ballooning has just been forgotten about and taken over by wanting to do other things / other priorities.
After this morning TPP has started looking into going ballooning – will it happen, who knows only time will tell, but it the desire has been re-ignited so maybe this time.
Your homework today is to ponder on something that you have had a very strong desire to do in the past, but never have done the activity. Why not… what is stopping you from going out now?
